Testimonies!!!

Monday, November 28th, 2005

I just remembered I got 2 testimonies to share with the world!!! One happened last week and another happened today!!!

Testimony 1: THE THREE WAY CLASH!

My Sejarah(LAN subject) assignment was due last Saturday and this happened to me the day before that. Friday afternoon I had Sejarah class but by that time I hadn’t started the assignment yet. Since I had a progress test for my Visual Basic class the next day (same as the assignment due date) I decided to ask for an extension for the assignment until the following monday. Before class, I walked past the school lab saw my classmates doing the final touches to their assignments. I was like:

"Why everyone so rajin do the assignent so early?"

Than it hit me. It wasn’t due the next day, it was due THAT day!!! ARRGH!!! (reminder: I hadn’t started yet) So anyway, I asked the lecturer for extension and he dun wanna give me, he even told me to go downstairs finish off what I had so far and pass up nia…after much pleading, he agreed to give me a 1 day extension. That means I would have to burn the midnight oil and sacrifice studying time for the progress test the next day.

And if that wasn’t bad, he said he’s gonna change the sajarah progress test to the next day as well!!! ARRGH!!! Now I had 1 assignment and 2 progress test on the same day at the same time!!! At that point my mind was racing frantically about how I’m gonna get through the next 24 hours. As I was just about to commit suicide, a bible verse popped into my head.

Psalms 33:20: "We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield"

Actually I only remembered part of the verse but that happened to be one of the verses we were reading the following day for college cell group…but that’s another story altogether. Back to the testimony: ..and so I prayed in class (with my eyes open) and it  went something like this:

"…You are so big, You are so great, theres nothing You cannot do! …so anyway, I gotta teeny weeny bit of a problem here and if You could possibly take care of it, that would be great!!!…"

…the next thing I knew, the lecturer got a phone call. When he put down the phone, he told the class that he would be busy the next morning and that the Saturday morning class(which clashed with my Visual Basic progress test) would be postponed to afternoon. Hooray!!! Bought me a bit of time…but it was still tough to juggle my schedule coz its still due the next day along with everything else…and so I prayed again…and whadaya know, the lecturer got another phone call…

"I will not be able to have class with you all tomorrow because I’m gonna be busy the whole day. So I will postpone the test to next week lor!…and those who notchet pass up their assignments, pass up next Friday as well."

Muahahahahaha…I was jumping for joy!!! I skipped all the way home, hehe…praising God and His goodness. His mercy endures forever!!! …ooh, and by the way, I got 69% on the Visual Basic test and highest for the assignment: 28/30!!!

Oh man, this turned out to be longer than I thought…and I’m tired liau. I think I’ll continue with the other testimony another time as not to bore you all. I’m sorry but I just couldn’t keep it in. I simply had to share it! If ur still reading this than THANK YOU from me!!! *hugz* Indeed ur a good friend! Now go and be blessed…

Movie Review!

Sunday, November 27th, 2005

I know this movie has been out for a long time already but I’m not exactly a fan. Besides, I was saving it for a special occasion…a couple of days ago, that occasion came to pass…I was bored stiff and was thinking of a way to kill time. So anyway, here is my review for Star Wars Episode III.

Starwar

Title: Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
Runtime: 140 min
Genre: Crap.
Target Audience: Deceased
Certification: PG-13
Link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0121766/

Reviewer: Me.

I don’t believe I just wasted 2+ hours of my life for watching that pathetic movie! I believe I am now 10 IQ points dumber having watched it. Why anyone would want to have any part in this ridiculus franchise I do not know. The only reason I finished watching it was because of my willpower was strong enough to endure this period of mental torture.

So why do I hate this movie? First of all the very foundation of which the story revolves around is total bullshit(no pun intended). Space, as we all know consists of a vacuum and sound cannot travel through it. You might now be thinking to yourself what this has to do with anything, if you were not then I’m sure you are now. Anyway, to cut a long story short this means that when a spaceship gets shot down in space there is NO big bang! It will just explode silently and it won’t burn forever but once the ships oxygen supply runs out the fire will extinguish itself. The producers should have just made it a silent movie.

Anakin Skywalker- Everyones hero. Turned out to be a gullible nitwit in the end, huh? Anybody know whether Anakin Sywalker had down syndrome or something similiar? He seemed pretty retarded to me. He is suppose to be a wise jedi!!! Wise my foot! My rabbits are smarter than him! …and how is it possible to establish gravity in the friggin space ship? What a load of crap!

Which brings me to Yoda. By the end of the movie I so wanted to strangle that oversized toad. Why can’t he learn proper english??? He speaks the last half of the sentence before the beginning! Whats up with that?! …and his voice!!! ARRGH, the pain!!! It’s no wonder that white children these days can’t speak proper english.

…and those are just a some of the examples of dumbness in it. If you haven’t already watched the movie, I suggest you don’t attempt it. Its the most untasteful load of crap to date. On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the lowest, i would probably give it a -10! George Lucas, just when I thought he couldn’t get any worse he surprises me yet again. Thanks goodness the saga is complete. May it rest in pieces.

there and back again…

The story of an oversized hobbit called Jiaren who inherits a ring from his uncle. A powerful but evil ring. The oversized hobbit must therefore destroy the ring. He must venture into the unknown searching for Mount Santubong. The place where the ring was forged. The ONE place it can be destroyed. Accompanying him is another oversized hobbit called Charlie Sim. Together they are the fellowship of the ring. They embark on their journey with 2 mechanical companions. One is called LeRun and the other, Schwinn…

If you don’t understand that gibberish, nevermind…Charlie and I cycled to Santubong Resort yesterday and came back this morning(Saturday). We left at around 5.30am yesterday and arrived at Santubong Resort at 9 sumthing in the morning…took us 2 and a half hours to get there but we managed to take some great pictures on the way up!!!stuff that you couldn’t if you were using a car…

Later we met up with members of the cell group who were coming a bit later, after checking in, we went for lunch before lunch then took a nap til dinner while the others went to the peach and played in the pool…I wanted to go but I was tired and I didn’t bring my swim trunks anywayz…After dinner at Holiday Inn Damai we went back and played UNO till everyone got tired…Had to sleep early anyways coz we had to get up early the next day to leave.

I think we left around 6am and it took us 1 hour 50 minutes to get back home!!! …including breaks along the way!!! yeah, I’m so proud of myself… Johann would be proud of me, lol…If he came, maybe can go faster, hehe…but anyway, I’m happy with the time…next time gambate to and fro in one day…Since we left so early we had to forfeit the hotel breakfast…*sigh*
